Florida's unique natural places and its wildlife dominate the photography of Clark Wheeler, who was born in South Miami in the early 40's. Family visits to the Everglades, the Keys, and old Marco and Sanibel Islands established an early love for the Florida outdoors. Images of Florida continue to dominate his work, but other wild places in the US, including Alaska, the desert Southwest, and western North Carolina have expanded his image collection. Travels to Peru, southern Africa, and other international locations have provided additional photographic opportunities
